Get ahead of the Games - travel information during London 2012
With the London 2012 Games fast approaching, the city will inevitably be a lot busier than usual during this time. As some journeys and locations will be affected at certain times, a new Get Ahead of the Games website has been launched, to help avoid travel hotspots.

UKTI Publication to Promote Construction Product Export Success
The CPA has been asked by UKTI to produce a publication celebrating and promoting overseas success of products manufactured in the UK.

How is the recession affecting your business?
NSCC, Building Magazine and CITB-ConstructionSkills have joined forces to research the current ‘state of the nation’ of the specialist sector in construction. AIS contractor members are invited to contribute to the report, which will be published by Building Magazine as a 'White Paper'.

Free Ska assessor training
There are a limited number of places left on the two day Ska assessor training, which is taking place on 12/13 March.
NISTG, which is administered by AIS has secured CITB-ConstructionSkills funding for the Ska Assessor training, which is being offered to CITB levy paying contractors free of charge (normally costing £954).
Places will be offered to non-levy payers at a 50% discount subject to availability.
Building a Better Contractor Roadshow
The first of this years AIS Building a Better Contractor Roadshows will take place on 23 February 2012 at The Training Centre, British Gypsum, Head Office, East Leake, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE12 6HX from 3pm to 7pm.
