AIS Contractors Awards

The AIS Contractors Awards are presented annually to promote and encourage high levels of craftsmanship.

Those categories that have value bands - interior fit-outs, ceilings and partitioning - allow, at the discretion of the judges, for a Gold and Silver award, as do the categories for Drywall Construction, Specialist Joinery, Operable Walls and the Judges' Award. The awards are announced and certificates presented at the AIS President's Lunch.

All contracts entered are visited by two AIS award judges. In addition, entries shortlisted in the three Interior Fit-Out value bands are visited by a guest architect/interior designer who determines the winners.  The architect or interior designer of the Gold award winning contract also receives an award.
